Our Story
Founder Duncan Alney is a lifelong tea enthusiast. But in recent decades, his palate’s evolved. After being exposed to some of the best teas India has to offer, his appreciation for fine teas has reached stratospheric heights.
But his enthusiasm involves more than his taste buds. Through his travels, Duncan learned that India’s finest teas are from microfarms in the country’s most remote regions. The farmers are impoverished and don’t have access to supply chains or fair trade routes.
As a result, they can only produce a limited quantity of tea and aren’t compensated fairly for their labor.
Duncan is proud to empower these growers, helping to distribute their teas globally. He’s honored to play a small part in improving the lives of these remarkably gifted tea growers.
And the world is able to enjoy a delectable brand of tea that has no equal.
